Reclaimed oak and spruce
A table with a top crafted from timber taken from an old oak bridal chest dating back to the 1870s. As much as possible of the oak’s original imperfections has been preserved. The cork patches were already present in the chest and may date back as far as the late 19th century. At either end, additional pieces have been fitted to the planks to create a cohesive tabletop.
The legs are made from leftover spruce timber and are finished with linseed oil paint.
